Product Description

Chevetol Gear Oils are premium quality all purpose industrial gear oils. It is blended from carefully selected paraffinic basestocks and combination of synergistic additives to achieve the required performance level of different standards as well as compatibility with normal seal materials. Chevetol Gear Oils can be filtered or centrifuged without the loss of additives.

Applications / Recommendations

  • Chevetol Gear Oil is recommended for lubrication of all types of circulation, spray and splash or dip bath lubrication mechanisms.

  • Most suitable for use in all conventional types of gears, sliding mechanisms, chain drives and flexible couplings.

  • Recommended for use in mechanisms operating under heavy / shock loads and vibrations.

  • Suitable for use in continuous recirculation systems incorporating filters.

Measuring Method

Viscosity is measured in accordance with ASTM D 445 method.
Viscosity Index is measured in accordance with ASTM D 2270 method.
Pour Point (°C) is measured in accordance with ASTM D 97 method.
Flash Point (°C) is measured in accordance with ASTM D 92 method.
Rust Characteristics Test is measured in accordance with ASTM D665 method.
FZG Rating is measured in accordance with DIN 51354 (12 Stage, A/8.3/90) method.
Timken EP Test or OK Load (lbf) is measured in accordance with ASTM D 2782 method.
