Product Description
Chevetol Turbine Oil is high quality long life lubricants for various circulating systems including steam, hydro and gas turbines. It is manufactured using Hydroprocessed, High VI Group II basestocks and carefully selected additives to provide excellent oxidation and thermal stability, water separability, resistance to foaming and corrosion. They have superior air release property for which is extremely essential for turbine lubrication.
Applications / Recommendations
Chevetol Turbine Oil is recommended for steam, hydro and gas turbines. This oil can also be used for circulating and hydraulic systems.

Measuring Method
Kinematic Viscosity is measured in accordance with ASTM D 445 method.
Viscosity Index is measured in accordance with ASTM D 2270 method.
Pour Point (°C) is measured in accordance with ASTM D 97 method.
Flash Point (°C) is measured in accordance with ASTM D 92 method.
Copper Strip Corrosion is measured in according with ASTM D130 for 3 hours at 100°C.
Rust Characteristics Test is measured in accordance with ASTM D665 method. ASTM D665/A and ASTM D665/B are showing same results.
Foaming characteristics measures the stability of the foam after 10 minutes setting time.
